PENTAGON 225 OSHP (ukrainian ПЕНТАГОН 225 ОШП) — officially the 225th Separate Assault Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (originally the 225th Separate Assault Battalion). Founded in March 8, 2022, in Kharkiv as part of the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade.
Started as a battalion, became a regular army unit in July 2023, and was upgraded to a regiment in February 2025.
PENTAGON specializes in high-intensity assault operations with an advanced focus on drone warfare, urban combat, and deep reconnaissance. PENTAGON 225 OSHP is not a conventional infantry regiment. It’s a hybrid assault-tech formation that combines: shock tactics in assaults, precision drone strikes, electronic superiority, and media-savvy communication. They represent the next-gen style of Ukrainian military strategy — aggressive, decentralized, and tech-integrated.
